Hello my name is Tia,
I am a Licensed Cosmetologist/ Natural Hair Care and Loc Specialist. I attended Shear Ego International School of Hair Design located in Rochester, New York. I received my Cosmetologist License in June 2000. I continue to further my education by attending Classes, Seminars and Hair Shows. I attended Taliah Waajid Natural Hair, Braiding and Weaving Seminar located in Atlanta, Georgia. I received my Natural Hair Care Certificate in October 2009. I attended Paul Mitchell The School located in Costa Mesa, California. I received a Certificate in Core and Advanced Cutting in June 2010. I received a Certificate in Advanced Weaving, Cutting, and Styling with Celebrity Hair Stylist Janel (Cocoa Mane) Smith in December 2010 in Baltimore, Maryland. I have been licensed by the state of New York for 11 years. I am currently in the 1st EVER Essence Hot Hair Magazine (Fall 2010 Issue). I decided to go to Cosmetology school because I felt it was my GOD given talent and I wanted to learn more about the field. I also believe in great hair care and I enjoy making people look GOOD! Styling hair is my passion. This is not just my career, this is my life and I take it VERY seriously. Hair is always on my mind. I dream, and live hair! When your hair is right nothing else matters. I understand that Braids/ Weaves brings you Confidence, Convenience and Style. I am also aware that my clients desire healthy hair underneath their beautiful Weaves/ Braids.
